Stay tuned for our next update, where we'll announce the selected writers and artists who will be featured in this year's festival.

Get ready for an unforgettable experience at the Houston Poetry & Arts Festival 2024! Our lineup includes an art walk featuring local and student artists, captivating performances by esteemed poets like Houston City Poet Laureate, Aris Kian, and members of the Smoke Slam team. Join us in welcoming award-winning poets J. Bruce Fuller and Joshua Burton along with Chankrisna Tea. Plus, explore exhibitors from literary, art, and educational organizations, and don't miss out on the latest issue of Vocable, HCC’s literary and arts magazine, courtesy of the HCC Creative Writing Club.

But wait, there's more! This year, we're excited to introduce workshops and panels focusing on art and publishing. We can't wait to celebrate our vibrant art and literary community, as well as the remarkable talents of our students. Mark your calendars and be part of this inspiring event!

Don't forget the Open Mic!

We'll be hosting an open mic all day. Don't forget to bring your creative work to share! Everyone who signs up will be included in next year's anthology!
